Is this workflow same as actual devs do?
1. Game idea making
2. Making map and objects in blender
3. Implementing puzzles and actual gameplay
4. Implementing controls, UI
5. Optimize it and build
I'd have to add the step of prototyping between steps 1 and 2. That's where you roughly draw out the level with some placeholder graphics and then put in the game mechanics (Step 3 and 4 actually) and test it out to see if it's fun or not.
