How to get control over 2D game art size for storage friendly ?

Hey 

My Name is Khitesh Jain. I am from India. 


Firstly I would like to thank you for all the efforts, time, and energy you have imbibed to make those videos. I never thought of coming to game development until I watched your videos. Today I want to make a carrier in it. Also, it's my passion now. 


I am working on a 2D game project. My goal is to release a quality game for multiple platforms. As I mentioned Quality Game has a heavy load of artwork designed in Adobe Photoshop. I am writing this mail to seek suggestions if any in the following challenges?

Is there any way to maintain the quality of the artwork by optimum size reduction, As you might be aware that photoshop files aren't cheap in terms of size, If maintained good quality visuals.


*If I want to launch the game for a mobile platform how can I make the build version package having a minimum size?


*I would appreciate your help in this regard. I will be looking forward to any suggestions or advice from you.
