  Unity is a good game engine that supports c# and is easy to use https://unity3d.com/get-unity/download

  Unreal is a game engine that supports c++ and is a bit harder to pickup but the engine is open source and slightly more powerful than unity https://www.unrealengine.com/en-US/download

  Visual studio is good for programming https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/downloads/

  If you are doing 3d art I would use blender https://www.blender.org/download/

  For texturing 3d art I use an app called materialize with blender http://www.boundingboxsoftware.com/materialize/getkey.php

  If you are doing 2d I would use krita for art https://krita.org/en/

  Sound bridge is good for making music https://soundbridge.io/

  Freedsound is good for downloading music https://freesound.org/

  To start out with I would get a game engine, Visual studio, and blender or Krita depending on your art style.
