does this suits for a top down shooted game?

dow the font is ok for a pixel art based game?

    For a place holder, i think is enough, how about change the background into gameplay?

    It's easy and awsome trick to do this , print screen when you play your game , go to photoshop, crop just the gameplay , make a gaussian blur with high value and make it as a dark background for your menu
