On the rpg tutorial comments, Sebastian said that you could use the equipment skinnedmeshes on any other character as long as they have the same armature or have the same named bones, but it doesn't work for me in unity. They just show up as empty boxes
I always have to put all equipment meshes on the main player blender file, and it's not scale-able if I want to end up making a bunch of different pieces, since the player file will be huge.
