Here is just my thoughts on potential forum categories:
Showcase - to show off a game in development
Game Ideas - got a good idea but not the time/energy to make it? Or sitting there with lots of time but no inspiration?
Game Jams - meet people interested in sitting down on a weekend and challenge each other, also official ones can be discussed here and pinned.
They are just a few, I am sure there will be more as things grow. Just figured it would be a good place to start taking.

I really like the game ideas suggestion! It would be perfect for begginer developers who need a kickstart, and is good for advanced devs looking for a challenge. I hope they add it soon.
