So I'm making a multiplayer FPS. But I don't know how to make a retro futuristic pistol or any gun for that matter, I want a team fortress classic polygon count .
Maybe you start with Blender and create your gun as you wish. Than export the gun as a pbx or obj model and import it in Unity.
If you want to make low-poly scifi guns with minimal modeling knowledge, I suggest using Asset Forge by Kenney. We're launching our Blaster Creation Kit very soon which adds so much stuff to what the software has to offer.
