Weird looking plane

Hello. I am working on a low poly game where the terrain is always the same. To make the low poly terrain, I am using a plane, and setting the vertices in the Start() method. The only issue that I am getting is that the shader, and shadows make it look weird. Here is a picture:

 

And here is a video of what it looks like. I am not sure if this is what it is supposed to look like, but I feel like it looks kinda bad. Any suggestions?

Hmmmmm…. To me it looks like it’s supposed to. Change the directional light a bit?

Changing the directional light made it look a bit shinier, and for terrain, I think that looks quite bad. I tried changing the material, and messing with the settings made it look a little bit better, but not much. I think giving it a texture might help.

Thank you for this one. It made the shadows seem softer than what it was at. I think I’m going to try to add a texture to the material, though, to see what kind of effect that has on it.
