I’m creating my first mobile game and I’m way in over my head; the game is too complex for my first game. For the people who created mobile games before, what steps did you take? The game I’m creating consist of three parts, In the first two parts the character will be running and in the third part the character will be flying. I worked on the first part/stage for about three weeks, its not complex but I’m new to unity and I had no idea what I was doing. I’m about to start working on the second part and in this part there will be obstacles (think subway surfer). I’m not sure if I should write the scripts for the character movements and simulate the obstacles using objects in unity or pay someone to build the environment then write the scripts.

You should start by writing the scripts for your behaviors. Then once you have them tested with unity primitives then you can get your polished assets in the game. This is a mobile game specific answer more as just a good development practice.
