Space attack is the first game I have made and I want to get some feedback on it and to see if it is at least a decent game and what improvements could be made to it.

Space attack is a simple shoot’em game in which you fight off waves where enemies try to kill you and stop you. Every once in a while a boss will come in which has special attacks and you need to kill in order to move on.

You can upgrade you ship giving it more health or damage. Or if you don’t want to do that you can buy a new whole ship.

I have also put it on itch.io if you want to check it out there.

Overall it does look great!

Visual feedback:

One of the things you could look into is Pixel Per Unit. With this I mean the amount of pixels drawn on screen per Unity Unit (Meter..), some effects, sprites & objects have a much denser pixels per unit then others.

For example the planet in the background has a lot less pixels then the spaceship or bullet, you could do this as a art style but then (logical) seen the planet is far away so it would need a lot more pixels. Or you could keep the pixels per unit overall the same value.

This is my critique/feedback, maybe it was your design choice to do it this way but yea.. 😛

Gameplay feedback:

Thanks for the feedback on the visuals. I will take this into consideration. I will most likely change the pixels / unit to be the same as you said so there isn’t a difference in the amount of pixels.

Be sure to play it though to give me feedback on the gameplay :p
