Some of us do this as a hobby. Some others just love gaming and decided to make games. I will share with you all my #gamedev story, and I hope to see yours too!
So were in 2014, and when browsing on the internet, I found this thing that allowed you to make games called unity. I gave it a try, and like everyone, I was an idiot. (I actually imported a tank model and I said it sucks because it didn’t move…). I quit that like a couple of days later, since I couldn’t do shit anyways. Go over to December 2015, when my interest started to bloom. I started out with level design, mostly because I couldn’t code. Then, I started watching some tutorials and I was impressed with programming, due to its limitless possibilities. Then, after a couple over-scoped projects and very bad mobile games, I am finally a decent coder. But before that I suffered from the I-JUST-WANT-IT-DONE-I-DONT-WANNA-DO-IT syndrome. Just don’t be like me. Now, I have two soon-to-be-published assets, which will hopefully fund my next projects. This was my #gamedev story. What about yours? PS: Forgot to mention that I’m only 12 ?
