Hey everyone! I am working on a Multiplayer Game for android platform. I’ve done basic controls using virtual joysticks and a bunch of buttons. Virtual joystick is needed to control player movement and buttons are used to fire bullets.
When I’m making the player prefab all the references to virtual joystick features and to buttons are lost.
For example I need the reference for joystick Image to calculate Player movement and when I create a prefab of my player that reference is lost.
How should I solve this problem?

btw I’m following brackeys Multiplayer FPS tutorial on YouTube to make this work. I really like those tutorials, once I’ll start earning I would definitely like to donate this channel.

Keep up the good work 🙂

How comfortable are you with C#? Specifically with delegates and static classes.

Because I recommend the “Publish-Subscribe” pattern. It involves 3 classes; a publisher, a subscriber, and a mediator to act as a middle-man between the 2.

Here is a link to one I made a while back. I’d be happy to help you implement it into your game, or to help you make a less generic one to fit your specific needs. If you’re interested, feel free to message me on Discord whenever. My username is: Eric The Reddish#2242

I’m not that good. I’ve just started with Game development.
Also I didn’t understood the code you provided.

You could just make the UI part of the player prefab then.
