I started with Codecademy and their java tutorial sessions. It’s a bit beginner at first, but it progresses really well.

CodeAcademy tbh is too short, maybe it’s only supposed to be the fundamentals? I felt like some things weren’t explained the best but that’s my opinion. 2 years of programming I think the best thing to do is get a book with exercises because I spent 2 years looking at concepts like arrays, generics, inheritance etc but never used them, didn’t really get anywhere.

But getting a book will exercises will really challenge you and you get to use all of them fancy concepts. Just my opinion though, whatever works for you.

Also if you doing Java a really good book is Tony gaddis starting out with java 6th edition. Or if you REALLY want to challenge your self( I recommend you don’t read this one lol, because its too hard. Might not make sense what I am saying but the exercises are way too hard imo) Fundamentals of C# BulgarianC# book

Or a really user friendly one is head first c#.

If you are complete beginner then take a look at this free course: http://codeasy.net
It has unusual way of learning, built as interactive book about adventures in future world (AI, fighting machines, cyberpunk)
It can be good place to start and after basics you can move to more advanced courses

Okay so it’s good you’re searching for topics in the forum, now start looking at the date. This was posted half a year ago 😉

lol. I did the same…

I see, but if somebody just searching for same question, it might be helpful. E.g. I can edit my answers on StackOverflow after one year, just because new information (approaches, methods etc) are coming.
If it against rules of your forum, then – my apologizes.

Short Videos. Incredibly Informative. Best series I’ve found. Highly Recommend.
