MySQL is based on tables, so to give some informations to it you must insert an info into an already created table. You do this by typing:
insert into table_name(attribute_name_1, attribute_name_2, … ) values(value1, value2, …);

to get some information from your database the command is :
select * from tables_name1, …
This is the easiest select because the “*” selects every attribute, so if you want to extract only certain information you must specify the name of the attributes you want to get. I know this is a very general explanation but I think you are a newbie to databases because these commands are the base to start acting on tables. If you need further or better help please tell me. Hope it helped 😉

The only thing is they aren’t called attributes, but columns 😉

I’m so sorry, I’m an Italian student in IT and often some terms are used to refer to others, we use attribute to understand better whats a column is, referring for example to java (I know that is a weird example) sorry for the mistake

Well the thing is an attribute in in MySQL is completely different then a column, so that could get confusing for some.

https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.7/en/numeric-type-attributes.html this is an example of numeric type attributes 😉
