Hi , I am always confused on small things. likewise I’m confused about how to make the terrain map for my game and it’s still unanswered. Unity has own terrain creation/manipulation tools, again I see people use static mesh as terrain made in blender or such app. I don’t understand that part. Should I make a terrain in blender (sculpting plane object) and import in unity or make a terrain object and use the in-built tools?
I have come here in desperation of transparent and guided answer. Please Gurus help me out. Tell me what you do in your life and which is better when and why?
