Hey guys,

before I publish my app and assign a key to it I want to understand what I’m doing, because I’ve read some frightning posts about not being able to update your app.

So the keystore is basically a keychain for all your keys you want to create in the future, and every game gets a unique key which is saved in the keystore. So when you want to update your app you have to browse for your keystore and enter the unique key.

After creating a keystore I should save him to a save place like an external drive right? Am I running into any file detection errors when I’m doing that?

Is it normal that the keystore doesn’t show up in the folder structure where I saved him? (Unity projects/#specific project) or does it only show up when you create a key?

Thanks in advance
