Crowd Simulation with Heatmaps with a given map.

Hello Everyone,

I have an idea to graphical representation of crowd simulation, i have this idea show how crow control or crowd flow could be represented in unity.

So the thing i want to create is that i have a map or a layout with specified spawn points and all the limits etc. and let that run for few minutes and make heat maps like on corners of the maps or where ever the flow is less make a heat map there. One idea i had to make this work is to make a circle with circle collider with its color to be green initially and add a script to it for movement, and when it comes to close proximity to other people it would turn it shade towards red to show a less flow in the crowd.

It is the same concept as we would use in roadways to see the flow. If anyone has a better idea to make this idea work or is there already scripts which would make this work, Please let me know.
