So basically I want to be able to use an app on the phone to apply changes to an app on the computer over wifi. Any ideas how? I found this guy’s solution but I’m not sure I understand how his solution works?

You can use the build in multiplayer (Unet) from Unity https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/UNet.html The manual will help with your questions for making a basic setup, sending and receiving (synchronizing) Boolean or other data types.

Would I be using [Command], [SyncVar], and [ClientRpc]?

and basically be using networked variables or something? I’m partially trying to use my phone like a remote control or something similar.

From silverxaz

You can if you want to, if you are using two different apps. Use NetworkMessages to send and recieve data, ClientRPC/Command/SyncVars help a bit in syncing networkbehavior variables. Also look into syncevents. if you are trying to build a scalable solution. Also look into Event Queue, and how to process it.

Would I have to build the mobile features as a separate project on the mobile platform? Or should I switch platforms on the original project and just work on there? Switching platforms takes a long time and the game itself is too graphics heavy for the mobile platform.
