Hey, i have a problem, i have a gun that i’m animation, it has, for now, 4 states, idle (in the hip), aim (move the gun to the center), aiming(a very sutle breathing when aiming), and shoot(for the recoil). I have set the shoot animation in another layer, so it can play while the idle, aim and aiming ones play aswell. The problem is that while i can animate, it dos not “follow” the gun. What i mean by that is that no matter where the gun is, the shooting animation will allways play in te hip. I need it to not have a fixed position, but i can’t seem to make it work (yes it has a parent)

Okay so i fanally managed a way to make it work. I’m gona post it so that way maybe i can help someone with the same problem. What i did was to pas all the gun animations to an emty object witch i made parent of this gun. So now the gun positioning is managed by the emty object parent and now just make another animator and another script for the gun itself that only triggers the shoot animation. This way no matter where the gun is the animation will apply to the correct position.
