Hi everyone,

just wanted to showcase the progress made with my first game, hope you enjoy!

Edit 20/02/2016
For everyone new reading this, I will keep developing this game, however I cannot do it all at once since my studies require too much time. Therefore, the development will be stalled in some periods, but will continue full time as soon as I have less workload.

Dude your game looks awesome.
Could I participate in your project ? (Iam a c# developer)

Hey man, thanks a lot! I would really enjoy letting people join in but I currently have 2 problems. There are periods in which I work on it everyday and others (like now) where I need to study so I can hardly open unity to proceed with the development. Also, I’m not experienced in Unity and C#, I am still learning and others’ developers level is most likely too high for mine..
On the other hand, I will most likely want to improve on it in the future, so that’s maybe a better time where you could join in, so that we both have more freedom from all points of view when working on it

Dude, your level of c# programming doesnt matters! I would even teach you some concepts to programm something like power ups, particle effects and a lot more!:)

And we could make something like a timetable when we can work together and its okay if someone cant work once on that time its okay 🙂

So, what do you say ? 🙂

I appreciate the interest, but tbh I would rlly rather try to finish this first game myself. Then afterwards I would be much more open for collaborations and projects with others!

Hey! Thank you I appreciate it, I absolutely will keep this thread updated. However, since there are periods during which I cannot work on it due to studies, the development will be stalled for some time (several weeks perhaps..). Then, when I can get back to work, I’m going full time on it :D!

Late reply – but this is the first time I’ve seen this thread. I just wanted to pop by and say – all of the gameplay looks really great on the whole! It’s all very well made by the looks of it and the only complaint I can find is what you have already mentioned – some of the textures could be revised 🙂

Keep up the great work!

Hey! Okay cool, thanks! Yes, I realize the artwork (if you can even call it like that xd) is weak, I spent very little time on photoshop and I also know very little on how to use it properly.. I think I will spend more time on it towards the end of the project, oncethe technical part works properly. Thx again!

Edit 17/04/2016
Boss waves are implemented, small change to map layout and perks + perk spawns are being added! In case you are interested, for more info on these small updates you can check this video and its description: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZFG6DhcHjJM.

P.S. Unfortunately I am not allowed to edit my very first post, which would make this discussion much neater, with updates following each other in an ordered manner. But the “edit” button is not there anymore.

Edit 06/072016

Hi again everyone! After quite some time, the game is almost complete. I took very long since I was able to work on it in different periods “on/off”. Also, it is my first game.
With this update, I would like to ask for suggestions mainly since you will see the game in its complete form quite soon. I am doubtful on how to proceed at this point: should I just build it one final time (once it is ready) and upload it on kongregate? Since I would like to make a minimum profit out of it, even if I’m not expecting much since it’s a game that has it’s problems. Does any of you have any other suggestions?

Here is a small taste (in picture format) of how the pre-alpha was:

Wow looks great! (: This is your first game?! Also out of curiosity what programming language did you use?

Thanks! I wanted to use Python at the beginning since that was the only language I knew (basic level). But since I couldn’t use it on unity, I went for C# and learned a bit of that. Yes it is my first game, but I didn’t rush it as you can see from previous posts.. I had weeks during which I worked on it and others where I just left it there waiting.
