1 animation for all type of weapon

im want to create a 3d FPS and bow is the weapon that i used in this game. for “pulling” animation the right hand is for holding the bow, and the left hand for holding the string. the problem is every bow is different in string position. is there a way to create only one animation for all bow? or i must create animation for every type of bow?

It is possible to have one animation and there are many solutions as always to achieve this.
You could mask some parts of the animation
or you could use procedural animations
or inverse kinematics
or maybe the easiest thing to do is this: Add some extra pivot points (empty game objects) and use them as a offset. (Make usure you dont animate these values’, just offset them by code.)

And the last and probably best solution is to make all the animations, you can copy the base animation and tweak the offsets.
